I supported industrial clients with environmental compliance and emissions reporting projects for refinery and manufacturing operations across Louisiana. I worked alongside engineers to analyze emissions data, prepare regulatory documentation, and develop technical tools used for air permitting and environmental reporting.
I prepared portions of Title V permit applications and technical compliance reports related to air emissions regulations, helping clients maintain compliance with federal and state environmental requirements. My responsibilities included evaluating emissions calculations, interpreting EPA guidance, and organizing technical documentation for regulatory submissions.
I developed Excel-based engineering tools to calculate pollutant emissions from industrial engine systems using EPA methodologies and manufacturer specifications. These tools streamlined reporting workflows and improved consistency in emissions calculations across multiple projects.
I also developed an excess emissions report for a client involving thermal oxidizer overheating and venting incidents, assisting with technical analysis, documentation, and root-cause evaluation for client reporting.
Throughout the internship, I collaborated directly with engineers and clients to communicate technical findings, interpret regulations, and support project deliverables in a professional consulting environment.
